The hosting company screwed up so now I have to rebuild all the menus.

Thanks!

This bottle was purchased in Chapel Hill, N.C. in the spring of 1996.  My rationale at the time was that it would be a good comparison to put up against Chehalem Pinot Gris Reserve, so in the rack it went.  As has happened to me more times than I'm comfortable admitting, this bottle got lost in the shuffle and didn't get opened until the fall/winter of 2003.  Suffice it to say it didn't age nearly as well as the various bottles from Chehalem that I've managed to keep as long.  This should not be viewed as a shortcoming of the wine, but rather yet another case of unfortunate management on my part.

Notes:

Over the hill, but trying desperately to hang on to the last vestiges of drinkability.  I'll have to pick up another bottle of more recent vintage and give it a fair assessment before passing judgment.
