The hosting company screwed up so now I have to rebuild all the menus.

When we want Cabernet, this is what we look for.  Fortunately we can find it consistently well below the suggested retail of $25, otherwise we might have to ratchet down our expectations.  Only slightly less of a wine than it's older sibling this wine has earned a place in my heart.  Rich with nice tannins, complex flavors and aromas all wrapping up in a long, pleasant, not-too-dry finish.  I haven't shared this wine with anyone who didn't enjoy it.

Notes:

Intense fruit, nicely balanced fairly young but ought to creep up on the top-shelf BV wines if I can manage to keep a few bottles around long enough to find out.  Long, smooth finish with a little more zap from the tannins than the BV Reserve.  I enjoy this wine so much with robust cheeses and beef that I haven't even tried it with anything else.  8/10
